Our St. Joseph Asian Center, established in 1994 and located in the Archdiocese of Manila, seeks to coordinate and implement the mission of the Apostolate for Family Consecration – John Paul II’s own vision for the Civilization of Love and Life – by the consecration of families and parishes in the Truths of the Catholic Faith in accord with and moved by the Eucharistic, Marian, and family-centered spirituality of Pope John Paul II.

This mission is accomplished by training parish leaders and leaders of various Church-approved spiritual associations on how to use our multimedia and theologically approved evangelization and catechetical systems. Our evangelization and catechetical systems feature some of the most outstanding teachers of the Faith in our time, including members of the Philippine hierarchy: Jaime Cardinal Sin, Archbishop Gaudencio Rosales, Archbishop Angel Lagdameo, Bishop Ramon Arguelles, Msgr. Josefino Ramirez, Msgr. Socrates Villegas, and others.

The AFC offers concrete apostolic techniques to parish leaders as well as an array of communication resources & systems, for cooperative efforts in evangelization and catechesis, plus an array of support ministries. These support ministries include television programs (a 24-hour Catholic family channel), various retreats, and evangelization and catechetical training retreats.
